- To process all mats available for washing to quality standards set by phs.
- Ensure that production and service quality standards are met.
- Ensure the service operation is provided with a high-quality service in terms of Rapid Turnover of Mats and Mats properly clean/dry.
- Ensure all laundry equipment and associated items are maintained according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures. Ensuring all records are kept up to date
- In the event of machinery breakdown, to be competent to decide on either undertaking minor works to fix the problem or to notify the Laundry Support Manager.
- Ensure the changeover procedures are followed at the end of the shift and any relevant information is passed on clearly. Keep accurate production figures as required by the company quality manual.
- To ensure the detailed application of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. This includes the use of all machinery. In the event of any emergency ensure appropriate assistance is called.
- Understanding of laundry systems, machinery and processes
- A methodical and logical way of working
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with individuals and groups, both orally and in writing

- Creative approach to problem solving.
- A salary of £24,000 (Based on a 40-hour working week Monday to Friday)
