The Role:

  • Provide expert legal advice and support on a variety of issues.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft and negotiate key contracts.
  • Support data protection, H&S, and FCA requirements.
  • Assist with corporate governance and Company Secretarial matters.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with senior management to uphold high standards of legal compliance.
  • Interpret, communicate, and implement new and amended legislation.
  • Develop and improve Legal/Corporate Services policies and procedures.
  • Enhance contract management and control systems.
  • Efficiently handle litigious claims and complaints.
  • Attend Board and Committee meetings, offering valuable legal insights.

What You'll Need:

  • 2-4 years PQE in corporate/commercial law or in-house legal counsel in financial services.
  • Strong commercial contract skills.
  • Knowledge of financial services legislation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
