The Role:
- Provide expert legal advice and support on a variety of issues.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Draft and negotiate key contracts.
- Support data protection, H&S, and FCA requirements.
- Assist with corporate governance and Company Secretarial matters.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with senior management to uphold high standards of legal compliance.
- Interpret, communicate, and implement new and amended legislation.
- Develop and improve Legal/Corporate Services policies and procedures.
- Enhance contract management and control systems.
- Efficiently handle litigious claims and complaints.
- Attend Board and Committee meetings, offering valuable legal insights.
What You'll Need:
- 2-4 years PQE in corporate/commercial law or in-house legal counsel in financial services.
- Strong commercial contract skills.
- Knowledge of financial services legislation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
