The role involves assisting senior compliance leadership with various projects and monitoring changes in AML and GDPR regulations to identify necessary policy updates. * You will assist with internal audits, preparing reports for insurance renewals, including professional indemnity and cybersecurity policies, and ensuring the firm remains compliant with evolving legal and regulatory obligations. * You will help organise and oversee compliance training across the firm. The successful candidate will also manage client complaints, working closely with senior department heads to ensure effective resolutions.* Additional duties include undertaking tasks as directed by compliance leadership, overseeing the rollout of new procedures with a focus on data protection, and supporting the firm's accreditation and regulatory certification processes. Experience & Qualifications Required* Qualified solicitor or equivalent. A Legal qualification is essential. * Experience in legal compliance and/or litigation is essential.* Keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of their work.* Strong IT skills are essential, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.* Strong research capabilities are required to support compliance and legal matters.
