We have a new permanent opportunity for a full-time Senior Associate to join a thriving Family Team in Swindon. ?We are looking for a talented and ambitious solicitor with a proven track record in business development who can hit the ground running and successfully contribute to our growth plans.

?Candidates will ideally have 5-8 years PQE family law experience managing a varied and complex caseload.

?The Role?

  • Manage a varied case load of divorce, separation, financial remedy, and children law matters as well as drafting pre-nuptial and living together agreements on behalf of privately funded clients
  • Contribute to the growth of the family law practice through business development initiatives and networking opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by offering personalised legal services, understanding their needs and providing clear communication throughout the legal process
  • Represent clients in family court proceedings, hearings and negotiations, demonstrating strong advocacy skills and legal acumen
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Firm to ensure an efficient and effective client service
  • Support the development and supervision of junior members of the team

?About you?

  • 5-8 years’ PQE in family law ideally
  • Proven business development skills - able to generate own pipeline
  • Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent team player with demonstrable ability to build effective and trusting relationships with clients and colleagues
