Supplier Quality Engineer - £45k- Swindon

Platform Recruitment have partnered with a leading engineering client. They are looking for a supplier quality engineer to lead and support daily supplier management activities.

The supplier quality engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier-related issues, and drive quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers and manage quality issues.
  • Investigate defects and non-conformities, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Perform supplier audits and maintain accurate records of evaluations and corrective actions.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track supplier performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO/TS 16949)
  • Experience with APQP and PPAP processes.
  • Strong communication, and teamwork skills.
