We are working alongside a brilliant school in Swindon that are seeking a passionate individual to take on the role of Behaviour Support Mentor. The role is a full time position starting in November 2024, supporting students with additional needs facing behaviour challenges throughout the school day.

Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Mentor:

  • 1-1 support for students with SEMH needs
  • Identifying triggers for episodes of challenging behaviour
  • Implementing effective regulation tactics
  • Setting targets for pupils to work towards
  • Contribute to staff meetings (share observations and input on care plans)
  • Keep students motivated and engaged in lessons
