As a Conveyancing Secretary, you will play a key role in supporting the conveyancing process, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Conveyancing Executive.
- Draft and prepare legal documents related to property transactions (e.g., contracts, transfer deeds).
- Manage case files, ensuring all documents are correctly filed and organized.
- Communicate with clients, estate agents, and third parties to gather necessary information and provide updates.
- Organize appointments, meetings, and deadlines to ensure workflow is maintained.
- Assist with the preparation of completion statements and invoices.
- Answer incoming calls and address client queries in a professional manner.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of searches and enquiries.
- Support the Conveyancing Executive throughout the conveyancing process, from instruction to completion.
- Ensure the efficient running of the office through day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Previous experience in a conveyancing secretary role is essential.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage a busy workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software (experience with a case management system is advantageous).
