What You'll Do:As a Legal Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, assisting attorneys in various legal tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information for cases.
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings with precision.
- Organising and maintaining case files, ensuring everything is up to date.
- Scheduling appointments, meetings, and court dates.
- Communicating effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
- Assisting in trial preparation and attending court hearings as needed.
What We're Looking For:To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A degree in paralegal studies or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A genuine passion for the legal field and a desire to learn!
