Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our client’s dynamic team as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker in Swindon. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in the financial services industry and receive comprehensive training and support to become a successful Mortgage Advisor. In this role, you will play a vital role in guiding clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring they secure the right deal for their needs.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker, you will learn and understand the mortgage market, products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and goals.
  • As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker, you will conduct initial consultations to understand client needs and financial situation.
  • Research and recommend suitable mortgage products from a panel of lenders.
  • Prepare and submit mortgage applications to lenders.
  • Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents throughout the application process.
  • Provide ongoing communication and updates to clients.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Actively participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your knowledge and expertise.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.

For this Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker Role, you will require:

  • CeMAP 1 (or equivalent) qualification is essential.
  • Previous sales experience, preferably in a financial or customer service role.
  • Clean credit history.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ambitious and eager to learn and develop within the financial services industry.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude

Salary and Benefits:

  • Basic salary up to £25,000, including a car allowance with financial guarantees to £33,000 (pro-rata) for the first 6 months.
  • Pension scheme.

  • Generous commissions from 10% to 25%.
  • OTE of £45,000 in year one - £65,000 thereafter
