Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for a Purchase Manager in the SN4 area. In this role, you’ll manage stock levels, optimize processes, and ensure efficient purchasing to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities:
  • Managing stock levels, generating reports, and conducting regular inventory counts.
  • Placing orders to replenish stock and forecasting demand using data analysis.
  • Utilizing inventory software to track levels, optimize reorder points, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborating with Operations and Sales teams to streamline processes.
  • Leading projects like implementing barcoding for medical devices.
  • Identifying products/services for purchase and verifying suppliers.
  • Working with the Quality team to ensure stock meets company standards.
  • Managing budgets, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining procurement records.
About the right candidate:
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (or 5+ years of relevant experience).
  • Experience with inventory management software (Cin 7 and Zero experience a plus).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to manage sensitive data with confidentiality.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
