Vacancy: Transport Supervisor

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire

Salary: £32,868-£35,000 OTE per annum

JHP Recruitment are seeking an experienced and responsible Transport Supervisor to join our Swindon-based distribution client on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful applicant will work closely with the distribution centre management team to ensure the completion of next-day deliveries throughout the Wiltshire area.

Main Accountabilities:

Induction and training of new staff
Ensuring provision of relief cover over holidays and sickness of the driving team
Supporting the site management team to ensure the fleet is compliant with the O Licence obligations
Various administrative tasks to ensure daily deliveries are completed within company guidelines

Applicant Requirements:

Previous experience in a supervisory role, managing a team of HGV Drivers
A full HGV Category C driving licence
CPC Card
Digi Tacho Card
Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)

Working hours:

Start times range between 04:00-07:00
Monday to Friday
