Hours: Rotating shift patterns - 06:00 to 16:00 at 40,000 (no night payment) & 16:00 to 02:00 (4 hours at night rate 43,370). 4 out of 5 (Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri) - Long term rotating, short term will be earlies

Warehouse Shift Manager Overview:

We are seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager for one of our clients sites in Swindon. The role involves managing the shift, operators, and team leaders, while also maintaining strong client relationships.

The position requires overseeing rotating shift patterns and offers a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to achieve warehouse objectives and targets
  • Undertake on-call weekends on a rotational basis
  • Efficient resource planning
  • Manage Receipt, Picking, and Despatch teams
  • Chair warehouse team meetings and organize workforce briefings
  • Ensure compliance with work instructions, health & safety, and safe systems of work
  • Investigate and conclude all accidents/incidents with robust actions
  • Monitor sickness and holiday absence
  • Conduct annual appraisals and reviews for direct reports
  • Implement lean processes and promote continuous improvement initiatives
