Production Engineer

Up to £30k DOE

Swindon, Wiltshire 

Monday - Friday - 37.5 Hours per week

Our client is looking for a Production Engineer to join their team to support the production office and manufacturing facility.

Searching for a highly motivated individual and a qualification or part qualification in an engineering discipline would be advantageous.

You must have the ability to follow processes methodically and accurately, possess strong communication skills and be able to work as part of a group and individually with limited supervision.

Requirements

- Electromechanical knowledge - Knowledge of wiring and cable preparation is an advantage understanding and interpreting customers requirements from their drawings / schematics 

- Systems Engineering - Create assembly / production documentation, identifying bills of materials and product build structures, 2D CAD drawings and process procedures

- Process Control - Controlling production assembly documentation, engineering change management, control of tooling, first article approval 

- Quality Control - Resolving production issues in process, at final inspection or following customer returns, 8D investigation

- CAD Skills - Proficient use of CAD software is advantageous - 2D drawings only required

- Computer literacy - MS Office skills are essential
