Service Engineer
Location: Swindon Branch - Full UK Driving Licence required
Self-Employed - earnings between £600-£700 per week
We are a leading and innovative home improvement company specialising in designing, manufacturing, and installing high-quality windows and doors.
Are you an experienced Service Engineer looking to join a well-established company? Due to company growth we are looking for a self-employed Service Engineer to join the team.
The role:
- Travelling to customers' homes or sites to resolve issues to a high standard.
- Liaise with customers to understand and address their concerns, ensuring elevated levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of snag reports, resolutions, and customer interactions.
- Fixing roof & window leaks / damage to the external of units
- General maintenance and repair of conservatories, windows & doors (Inc new Handles/Mechanisms/Hinges/Door Bolts etc)
- Ordering parts and ensuring the correct parts are received prior to any job.
- Reporting any difficulties and service updates to the Installations Department,
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the window and door industry.
- Strong knowledge of window and door installation processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ideally located in Swindon
- Reliable, professional, and hardworking
- Awareness of health and safety and the need for safe methods of working.
