We’re currently working with an equine organisation, based in Shrivenham (SN6 postcode just north of Swindon), looking for an experienced administrator for 3 to 6 months to deal with a wide range of administrative processes and incoming phone calls.

3-6 months, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, office based with some flexibility. £24,000 pro-rata

The role: Based in Shrivenham, Oxfordshire, a few miles north of Swindon.

  • Working with a small friendly team which manages the administration, promotion, marketing and governance of a national equine sport.
  • It’s a particularly busy period as the season kicks off, creating lots of new applications and documents.
  • You will be involved in a wide range of administrative tasks, dealing with rider licence processes and documentation, invoices, updating regulatory and governance documents, working with spreadsheets as well as answering queries over the phone and by email.

The person

  • We’re looking for someone with a friendly and outgoing personality, a great phone manner and a helpful, can-do attitude.
  • Great at dealing with people, a strong multi-tasker with excellent administrative organisational and document management skills.
  • Someone who is great at following process whilst also looking at ways of improving them and maximising time.
