Assistant HR Business Partner

Swindon

27 per hour(umbrella)

Full Time Contract (3 Months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking an Assistant HR Business Partner in Swindon. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours. The employer can offer mostly remote working with 1 day in the office per week + attendance when formal meetings take place.

The job:

  • To work on employee relations case management
  • Support, coach, challenge and empower Directorate line managers in managing people issues (e.g. Disciplinary, Grievance etc.)
  • Dealing with local trade union (TU) representatives in relation to individual cases or local collective issues
  • To advise on and participate in staff appointments where appropriate
  • To contribute to the overall development of the HR team including HR policy development and projects

The candidate:

  • Experience managing restructures, complex casework and TUPE is essential

  • Strong ability and experience in managing all ER complex casework and Change programmes
  • CIPD qualified, or working towards this with experience of working effectively in a complex organisation
  • Experience working in a similar role in the public sector is desirable
