  • Must hold a recognised IQA qualification (IQA experience isn't essential, as our client can upskill).
  • Must be a qualified and experienced Assessor of Engineering. 
  • Must hold own NVQ Level 3 or above within an Engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical; Electrical; Automotive etc.)
  • Must hold solid occupational experience as a Vehicle Mechanic; Workshop Supervisor or within Marine Engineering.
  • Must possess a sound understanding of internal and external verification standards.
  • Minimum Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE / Functional Skills / equivalent). 
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Role duties;
  • Quality Assure across a range of Engineering Apprenticeships, achieving sustained high performance, quality of delivery and learner journey, in line with our client's standards across their Apprenticeship provision
  • Carry out regular observations of activity, share best practice and provide guidance and support to a team of Assessors
  • Ensure the quality of teaching and learning meets the quality assurance strategy and awarding body/ EPA / Ofsted requirements.
  • Support achieving consistency of delivery through Standardisation activities
  • Drive and implement continuous quality improvement.
  • Ensure the timely achievement of learners.
