The role is for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a focus on automated machines and knowledge of nuclear decommissioning projects.
This is a permanent position based in Swindon, offering a salary range of £30,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
Candidates should have experience using Inventor or a similar CAD system and designing bespoke machines.
Ideal applicants will have experience in designing moving equipment for high hazardous environments and producing conceptual designs.
The position is open to Junior through to Senior level engineers.

Produce practical concept designs for highly regulated industries
Design of Mechanical mechanisms and assemblies
Stress and other calculations to support designs
Applying GD&T knowledge along with BS8888
Designing to different manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing and welding
New product development – designing mechanisms from scratch

Mechanical Design Engineer will require the following experience: Essential Skills/Experience

Experience using Inventor or a similar CAD system
Worked on the design of bespoke machines
Ideal to see experience designing moving equipment for high hazardous environments
Produce conceptual designs
Understanding and design experience of different Mechanical Mechanisms
