Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Engineer to join our team on the Swindon contract.  You will be working on social housing, on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive £28,000 to £30,000 per annum Plus Excellent Benefits!

We are looking to recruit an experienced Multi Trade Engineer, to work in Swindon to provide a high quality and cost-effective heating system maintenance and repair service and to carry out high quality building/ remedial works to domestic properties to a range of different social housing properties.

Responsibilities of the Multi Trade Engineer will include: 

Boxing in of pipework

Joinery including shelving to cupboards, skirting boards, refitting wall units

Patch plastering

Brickwork

Laying concrete slabs/ trenches for oil lines

Fitting electric fire suites

Fitting pipework/ radiators/ valves/ condenses

Building work following solid fuel recommendations

Ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard

Completion of all relevant paperwork                     

Ensure customer satisfaction and safety 

Participate in out of hour's works

Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S procedures

Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards

Undertake all other maintenance works within remit

Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers

                                         

What are we looking for in our ideal Multi Trade Engineer:

Experience of working as a Multi Trade engineer

Competent in all aspects of the Joiner and/or Plumbing trade discipline

Plastering trade discipline (desirable), experience essential

Ability to carry out multi skill trades

Housing Association experience is essential

Hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness and have own toolsUnderstanding of gas legislationUnderstanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice

Full driving license
