Service Engineer

Title: Security Field Service Engineer
Location: Swindon area
Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 DOE + Van

We are looking for someone with CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Systems servicing and maintenance experience. Preferably with a history of working with a variety of vendors and brands. This role will also require an understanding of Local Area Networks (LAN) and IP networking. Programming and configuration at a low level is a standard part of the role.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Service Engineer. The Service Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, field service, communication, technical support, and maintenance & repair. The Service Engineer will work to solve technical issues and provide support to customers remotely.

Qualifications

* NVQ 3 in Electronic Security or equivalent proven experience (4+ Years) Knowledge of Access control / CCTV / Intercom / Intruder systems.
* Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
* Knowledge of digital electronics principles and systems Health and Safety.
* Good knowledge of Access control / CCTV / Intercom / Intruder systems.
* Good knowledge surrounding digital electronics and electrical systems.
* Working knowledge of TCP/IP and other network fundamentals of UFE's (Unified Front End).
* Excellent communication skills - Written and Verbal.
