Are you an experienced engineering professional looking for an opportunity to lead and make an impact? We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our customers onsite operations team in Swindon. This role is essential in supporting the delivery of high-quality maintenance operations and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor

  • Lead Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Support the team to ensure PPM schedules are completed efficiently, accurately documented within the Computerised Maintenance System (CMS), and improved over time.
  • Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Drive feedback and innovation within the maintenance program.
  • Support Engineering Operations: Assist the Engineering Manager, stepping in as needed during holidays or absences, and ensuring smooth team operations.
  • Service and Repair: Perform fault diagnosis, repair, and servicing of all site equipment, proactively identifying replacement needs and minimizing downtime.
  • Identify Projects and Lifecycle Needs: Pinpoint future repair requirements and potential enhancement projects to boost operational efficiency.
  • Maintain Health and Safety Standards: Contribute to creating, updating, and following all health and safety documentation and maintain high housekeeping standards in all automated areas.

Experienced required for the Maintenance Supervisor 

  • Qualifications: ONC/HNC or equivalent; Electrical bias preferred.
  • Experience: Proficient in engineering and maintenance with strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Ability to communicate effectively and work well solo or within a team environment.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks and maintain efficiency under deadlines.
