Our client is currently recruiting for a keen and enthusiastic Production Technician to join their small friendly production team in Swindon.
General:
- Ability to work and excel in a small team or alone
- Ability to carry out repetitive tasks on occasions
- Ability to listen and learn
- Flexible and adaptable in line with business requirements
- Polite and courteous telephone manner
- Computer literate
Duties:
- General assembly
- Working from engineering drawings
- Able to Solder / willing to train if required
- Fault identification and prevention
- Quality control
- Using hand / power tools on a daily basis
- Assisting with warehouse duties such as stock taking and packing. Some lifting required
- Repairs, servicing and breakdowns.
- Receiving and making telephone calls to customers regarding repairs
- Receiving and sending emails to customers regarding repairs
- Booking collections and deliveries on DHL website
Hours and Additional Information:
- 08:00 - 16:30, Monday - Thursday
- 08:00 - 14:30 Fridays
- 38 Hours Per Week
- Salary is reviewed following successful completion of probation period
- Bonuses available for specific projects
