Our privately owned clients service the Aerospace, Defence and other high performance industries. They are looking for a Assembly Technician to join their growing team!
Assembly Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assemble products to customer specification
- Carry out component test inspections and pre-pack inspections
- Allocate rack locations/ record parts
- Provide assistance to the stores area as and when required
- Book in materials, consumables and move them to the appropriate location
- Pick and pack for customer dispatches
- Handle raw materials, completing stock checking
- Dispose of waste materials
- Kitting Jobs from correct Locations for despatch, packing Customer parts and despatching on correct courier
The ideal Assembly Technician will:
- Have previous experience within a stores environment
- Be IT Literate, able to use internal stock databases
- Full UK Driving License (occasional delivery to customers using company transport)
- Counterbalance forklift licence (advantageous)
- Knowledge/experience within the engineering sector (advantageous)
Monday - Thursday: 07.45 am - 16.15 pm
Friday: 07.45 am - 15.15 pm
