We are looking for an experienced Reception Class Teacher to join a dedicated team. You will be an experienced teacher with a desire to make a difference. Qualified Teacher Status is essential (this post is not suitable for an ECT).

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Swindon

Position: Reception Class Teacher (KS1)

Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for an assigned class, management of class, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils.

Start Date: asap

Rate of pay : 120 - 160 p/d (as per assignment)

Hours: 08:30 - 16:30

EXPERIENCE

Essential:

* QTS - Qualified Teacher Status (Not suitable for ECT)

* is an excellent classroom practitioner, dedicated to raising standards, ability to lead curriculum development

* high expectations of themselves and the children in our school (Ofsted rated - Good)

* works well with parents, carers, colleagues and governors

* is a team player and works well within a team and as leading a team

Desirable:

*Experience of working in Primary School, ideally in KS1

*Experience of inclusive classroom practice

*An understanding of the transition process from Early Years to Key Stage 1

*Previous experience of teaching reading using a range of strategies, including synthetic phonics

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
