Monday to Thursday 0830 - 1700 - Friday - 0830 - 1600

Our client is looking for a Office Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Main Duties

  • Send out sub-contract RFQ’s and update the system with the responses.
  • Assist the storeman in identifying sub-contract jobs that could make up orders to meet supplier MOQ’s (minimum order quantities).
  • Use the system and delivery reports to communicate with suppliers and chase sub-contract batches to ensure they are back on-time.
  • Book in the plating and send out the despatch report to suppliers to communicate the work going out each day.
  • Assist the finance team with sub-contract invoice queries.

Quality Duties

  • Scanning and storage of documentation to maintain traceability in our MRP system
  • Processing Castings returns.
  • Booking In Gauges from production.
  • Production set up sheets – uploading into MRP.
  • Maintain Vendor appraisals for new and existing suppliers.
  • Providing the Company with a general support service for administration duties.

Attitude

  • The ability to communicate; be comfortable speaking with a wide range of suppliers and staff, in person, by telephone and in writing is paramount
  • A well-presented and pleasant manner with strong interpersonal and organisational skills is essential, and you must be able to work both alone, and as part of the team
  • An understanding for the need to continually maintain confidentiality and discretion

Beneficial Skills

  • Have general experience or be proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office Word & Excel .  This will include preparing and typing general correspondence, photocopying, scanning and filing of documentation.  Good sound IT and Keyboard skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Willingness to assist with a variety of traditional administration work and some more hands-on tasks.

The successful candidate will report to the Business Operations Manager and General Manager.
