Quality Engineer - Swindon - Up to 45k

I am working with an electronics company based in Swindon, who are now looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle supplier quality issues by investigating product defects and non-conformities
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for quick resolution
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier evaluations, inspections, audits, and corrective actions
  • Perform QA control tests, including visual checks, on products and ASICs

Requirements

  • BSc in a STEM subject (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar quality role
  • Understanding of quality management systems and standards (ISO/TS 16949 and VDA6)
  • Strong skills in analysing and interpreting data sets
  • Experienced with MS Office
