Quality Engineer

Swindon

£35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum

Our well-established client are a precision machining company which have grown to be a global supplier! They are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join their growing team.

Quality Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Primarily liaising with Production teams to provide support and guidance on product and process improvements
  • Identify issues through Customer returns and internal defect analysis, raising and documenting internal NCR'S
  • Ensure that all quality data and process documentation is recorded and organized accurately
  • Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner, using 5 Whys and 8D to determine corrective action
  • Administer applications for concessions, waivers, and production permits
  • Construct monthly reports based upon quality KPI’s
  • Monitor supplier performance to assist the Purchasing department with approval ratings
  • Maintain the system audit schedules to ensure their accuracy

The ideal Quality Engineer will:

  • Be an experienced Quality Engineer
  • Will have a working knowledge of the AS/EN9100, Aerospace or lSO9001 Standards
  • Have a machining/ CNC environment or precision mechanical engineering background
  • Be skilled in Quality inspection, precision measuring equipment with CMM methods/knowledge
  • Demonstrable experience with problem resolution and root cause analysis

Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30

Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
