Project Manager - M&E Engineering

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary - 60,000

We have an exciting opportunity to work for one of the largest facilities management companies in the UK working at a well known museum in Swindon looking after large, small and extra works. In this role you will work 3 days per week out of this facility with the additional days spent working across the rest of the businesses sites allowing for travel across South England & London. In this role you will be required to have a strong M&E Technical background with experience in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. This role will be working very closely with the on-site client 3 days a week and requires someone from a client facing background.

You will need experience managing projects and delivering works until the handover and close out phase of the project. You will also be required to have experience with project management methodologies and tech spec experience.

Project Management: Oversee all aspects of project works, from planning to completion.
Team Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and specifications.
Safety Oversight: Ensure all safety protocols are followed, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, addressing any issues promptly to keep the project on track.

Experience required as a Project Manager:

Qualifications:Black or Gold Card is essential for this position with the ideal candidate from an electrical background
Experience: Proven experience as a Project Supervisor, particularly in roof replacement or similar construction projects.
Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams effectively.
Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality control procedures in construction.
Availability: Ability to start by the end of July and commit to the full project duration.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with various stakeholders and reporting progress accurately.
