Purpose of the Role - Project Manager:
As aProject Manageron this majorwater infrastructure framework, you will be responsible for managing complex projects from pre-production to full completion. Your leadership will ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will also drive the use of innovative construction techniques, including offsite first strategies, while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Key Accountabilities - Project Manager:
  • Lead the successful delivery ofwater infrastructure projectswithin the Thames Water framework.
  • Ensure compliance withhealth and safety,quality, andenvironmental standards.
  • Manage bothon-siteandoff-siteoperations, tracking progress against project timelines and budget targets.
  • Cultivate apositive team culturefocused on high performance and wellbeing.
  • ImplementLean Constructionand other modern techniques to optimise efficiency and project success.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency at all stages.
  • Ensureexemplary site organisationto enhance safety and project performance.

Competency Requirements - Project Manager:
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in managing large-scalecivil engineeringorwater infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions.
  • Familiarity withLean Construction,Agile Programme Management, and other modern construction methods.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining highhealth and safetystandards.

Technical/Professional Expertise and Qualifications - Project Manager:
  • Minimum HNC qualification in construction or manufacturing (desirable).
  • StrongIT skillsand experience with project management software.
  • Professional qualifications such asSMSTSandrelevant CSCS cardare essential.
  • Experience in contract administration andBIM/digital toolsis advantageous.
  • Experience in similar roles within theconstructionormanufacturingsectors is desirable.
