Currently recruiting for a Construction fit out Project Manager.

You must be happy to travel and have a valid passport. The role will be involved in the remodel program delivering stores all across the UK and Ireland. You must have experience in construction fit out project management experience and ideally retail equipment and POS experience

Salary is £45k to £50k

Must have own transport also and licence

Job duties:

* Ensures project(s) under their control are delivered on time, to design, to cost budget & to customer satisfaction

* Establishes and builds long term customer relationship that delivers future business

* Acts as point of contact for all communication between customer & internal teams

* Ensures integrity & accuracy of project information

* Continually develops and enhances working practices

* Ambassador for the company, representing its values and standards

* Assist KPM to continually develop and enhance operational excellence through communication and client feedback


Key Activities:

Customer

* Is the main point of contact for the customer
* Builds and establishes good working relationships
* Develops an understanding of the customer, their business and future potential


Planning & Project Management

* Produces specific work programmes for Client and Sub Contractors
* Progresses contracts on site to ensure quality and programme deadlines
* Ensures work is to design and specific customer requirement
* Communicates effectively to project & internal teams
* Identifies and addresses issues affecting project delivery through clear communication to all parties
* Attend and hold "B" and "C" Team meetings as required for each project under your control
* Ensure that project files are managed and kept to company standards
* Ensure PC Certificate for every project
* Prepare weekly project report


Surveys & Quotations

* Produce accurate site surveys
* Completes breakdown of information from working drawings/specs
* Ensures working drawings/specs are produced into accurate customer quotations


Administration & Finance

* Raises Purchase Orders to Suppliers and Sub Contractors
* Approves all supplier invoices
* Raises all Invoices relating to project


Administration & Finance (Cont)

* Ensures project information & system integrity
* Operates within company financial procedures
* Ensure that all variations are documented & signed for by client
* Ensure all invoices and final accounts are raised within 2 weeks of completion
* Monitor costs against budget


Health & Safety

* Ensures company's & customer's legal obligations on site are met and maintained through on site audits
* Ensures Health & Safety surveys are completed prior to jobs starting
* Ensure the production of H & S and O & M Manuals with internal and external bodies for all projects
* Ensure Form 202 is completed at every site visit


Development

* Liaises with Design Team on new or amended equipment
* Shares and documents improvement to client working practice


Requirements:

* 5 GCSE grades A/B or O Levels
* Other Building or Construction qualifications would be an advantage.
* Extensive previous experience in shelving, shop fitting, building or similar back ground, preferably in a Project Manager role
* Ability to interpret conceptual and working drawings into bills of materials
* Understanding of costs and margins
* Computer software systems and building control regulations are a requirement
* Demonstrate a proven track record within the shop fitting industry
