We are currently working with a fantastic specialist school within the Swindon district who are seeking a Future Psychologist to join their excellent team of staff. This opportunity will open many opportunities to support children with additional needs, varying from ASD, Speech & Language and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

This would be an amazing chance for Future Psychologists to gain front line experience and see what it is like to be the first line of support for students facing challenges throughout their adolescence. For Future Psychologists, taking on a supporting role within the school will give an excellent insight to how support and prevention can help young people access high quality education. The responsibilities of the position are all highly transferrable to a career in psychology:

  • Working on a 1:1 ratio with children
  • Identifying possible trigger areas
  • Observing behaviour and reactions
  • Facilitating therapeutic techniques
  • Collaborating with occupational therapists and behaviour analysts on site

The school are looking for Future Psychologists to join their team and provide further insight to the school regarding how they can adapt the curriculums and tasks set in order for the students to benefit and work to their highest potential.

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 3:30
  • From £85 - £95 per day

Experience working with children is beneficial not mandatory. The ideal Future Psychologist will have received a 2:1 degree in Psychology or a relevant subject.
