Our client is keen to recruit a Quality Technician to join their growing company in Swindon.

Job Purpose

The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of all company products through thorough inspections, testing, and validation processes. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards and supporting the production team to deliver exceptional products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-stage inspections of all company products.
  • Create test programs according to company procedures.
  • Validate test programs to ensure they conform to customer wiring diagrams.
  • Perform final visual inspections of all company products
  • Complete inspection logs to company standards.
  • Record any rework on the inspection database.
  • Take manual resistance readings as per company procedures and record them on the inspection database.
  • Calibrate company tooling according to company procedures and record the results on the inspection database.
  • Build and repair test leads as required.
  • Ensure production paperwork is completed accurately and without errors.
  • Scan QA paperwork, rename, and store it according to company procedures.
  • Assist production when QA workload permits.
  • Inspect goods received.
  • Ensure products on the QA test rack are tested in a timely manner and in the order required for shipping.

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality inspection and testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
