Role Description
The Resolute Group are working with a national infrastructure contractor who has secured two additional long term framework contracts to assist the expansion of the commercial team with an Quantity Surveyor.
As an Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial process from administration to the management of the infrastructure contracts.
Day to day duties will vary but could include:
- You will be tasked to carry out take-offs, bills of quantities, cost plans and tenders for a range of clients including, sub-contractors, developers and private clients.
- Responsible for estimating all project lifecycle stages, concept, study and detailed design.
- Prepare comprehensive bids and tender submissions within the required deadlines.
- Conduct ongoing market research on current costs of material, rates and trends within the industry and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
Qualifications / Experience
- Construction or Engineering degree / certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years Quantity Surveying experience
- Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen
- Civil engineering or infrastructure background (Essential)
- Full UK driving licence
