Fawkes & Reece South are working with a main contractor that is working collaboratively with a private client on various infrastructure projects as part of a large framework in the South. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work on a project worth over 80m. The project is based on a NEC contract and has a scope of works that includes earthworks, drainage installation & pilling etc.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to a Managing Quantity Surveyor as part of a larger framework team that works from home and occasionally visits sites. You will be responsible for the commercial administration on this scheme (but not limited to):

  • Accurate monthly forecasting and agreeing on variations
  • Producing and sending subcontractors enquiries
  • Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliations
  • Managing change and producing compensation events
  • Preparing and submitting final accounts

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

Degree-qualified in a Quantity Surveying subject or equivalent

Experience working on any civil engineering or infrastructure related projects

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
