Our client, a leading Rope Access specialist, is seeking an ambitious and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality rail and civil engineering projects while contributing to the company's continued success.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining the highest standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Procuring subcontractors through tenders and preparing detailed documentation.
  • Overseeing subcontractor management, including issuing orders, assessing applications, and preparing payment notices.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) for internal meetings.
  • Valuing work instructions and ensuring timely submission of variations and early warnings.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reconciliations.
  • About You:
  • We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is eager to make a meaningful impact.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience in the rail or civil engineering sectors (preferred but not essential).
  • A full driving licence.
  • The ability to commute to Swindon or Cardiff.
  • A proactive, solution-focused attitude and a desire to grow within the role.
