A major civil engineering and water contractor is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a water project valued at £21M
The project has a minimum of two years to run, and the scope of work includes a rising water main and pumping station, administered under NEC terms and conditions.
This Senior Quantity Surveyor is a hybrid working role and will be based in Swindon two days per week.


The Role
  • Reporting to the Commercial Manager responsibilities include the full range of post-contract duties including:
  • Cost Reporting
  • Budgetary Management
  • Working with the Project Manager to identify risks and opportunities in the sub programme
  • Management of supplier and sub-contractor accounts
  • Provide leadership and support to junior members of the Quantity Surveying team.

Experience Required
  • Suitable applicants will be educated in BSc Quantity Surveying or similar. You will be able to demonstrate a stable career history working for recognised contractors on civil engineering, infrastructure or utility contracts.
  • You will have a thorough working knowledge of NEC contracts.
