Our client is looking for a Assembly Operative to provide additional support to their Assembly / Finishing Cell areas, as well as providing cover for the stores areas. 

Responsibilities (Assembly)

  • Assembling products for customer requirements
  • Component Test Inspection (CTI) including allocation of rack locations 
  • Pre pack orders / parts

Duties (Stores)

  • Providing cover during holiday / absence and busy periods
  • Booking in materials and cosumables, ensuring they are put away correctly
  • Raw material handling
  • Stocking checking
  • Disposal of waste material
  • FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE
  • Forklift license is an advantage but not essential
  • Pick and pack for daily customer despatch

The following attributes are essential for this role and full training will be provided

  • Experience working in stores
  • IT Literate 
  • Knowledge / experience working in the engineering sector would be advantageous 
  • Team worker
  • Good organisational skills
