Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior in the SN1 area. This role will involve a 50/50 split between audit and accounts work, focusing on both Charity/Not-for-Profit and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver audit and accounts assignments for various sectors, including Charity and Not-for-Profit, Limited Companies (including groups), Sole Traders, and Partnerships, using both balanced systems and cloud-based software, as well as incomplete records.
  • Prepare draft corporation tax and business tax computations, including relevant supporting analysis.
  • Plan and budget audit assignments, utilizing analytical review techniques.
  • Lead and assist in audit assignments, overseeing all aspects of the audit process.
  • Supervise and review the work of junior staff.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring timely delivery of information and services.
  • Support the Manager and Partners with ad-hoc project work as required.
The right candidate:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified with at least 3 years of practice experience.
  • Experience or interest in the charity and Not-for-Profit sector.
  • Strong multitasking, time management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software, particularly cloud-based platforms (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
