The Client

Our client are a global electrical safety business who provide products that protect people, machines and the environment against the direct and indirect hazards of electrical currents. They offer these solutions to a variety of industries including Healthcare, Defence / MOD, Energy, Utilities, renewables, oil & gas and Rail.

They are known for their commitment to innovation and safety in electrical systems, especially in a healthcare setting where electrical safety is critical to patient well-being and they are looking to add a Key Account Manager to their Healthcare team.

 

The Role of Key Account Manager - Healthcare

They are looking for a candidate with experience within a sales background preferably, however consideration will be given to candidates that can demonstrate a strong electrical knowledge and demonstrate experience in manging electrical failures and problem solving.

 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing healthcare customers.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our clients service contracts.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the Service Sales team.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Promote cross functional working and demonstrate a one team approach to promote a positive culture within the workplace
  • Ensure that all sales activities and processes comply with company policies and industry regulations
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and products, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders
  • Proactive approach to identifying and address customer needs

 

The Person

  • The successful candidate should be extremely flexible in their approach as every day will bring new opportunities and variety.
  • Planning, preparation and travel are a must for this role. 
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of service contracts and sales processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the South West region.
