  • Practice accountancy experience is very much preferred as we are looking for someone that has some experience of accounts preparation and knowledge of the various taxes

Requirements

Level 4 AAT qualified.

Experience working within practice accountancy.

Good communication skills.

An experience of a range of accounting software.

Awareness of a wide range of taxes and the associated compliance requirements, to include VAT and CIS.


Benefits

The salary for this role is£27.5K - £28.5K perannum full time (DOE & Quals). Full time hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm with a 30 minute lunch break.Travel to clients premises, networking/meetings or to our other offices may be required so a driving licence and car is preferred.

  • A pension scheme is provided, plus paid business mileage. Sick pay and holiday entitlement are statutory minimum, anything over and above this is discretionary only (although it often is discretionary paid). We have a couple of incentive schemes in place that pay commission or bonuses, and other initiatives we are looking to introduce soon.
  • Full time is preferred but will consider part time applicants.
  • Hybrid working may be an option but only after a training/settling in period.
  • Location preference is for Swindon office, but Calne can be an option.
