Are you a qualified Maths Teacher, Mathematics Specialist, or Mathematics enthusiast seeking a rewarding teaching role in Swindon? Academics Ltd is partnering with a highly regarded school in Swindon that is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher as soon as possible.
We are seeking a fully qualified Maths Teacher (with QTS) or a Mathematics Specialist who has a genuine enthusiasm for mathematics and is a skilled educator with high expectations and excellent classroom management. This role is also ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin their teaching journey in September, as well as for Maths Specialists who may not hold QTS but have extensive subject knowledge and teaching experience.
The ideal Maths Teacher will:
- Have a strong passion for mathematics and a commitment to high-quality teaching with effective classroom management.
- Be interested in the science of learning and dedicated to continuous professional development.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational, communication, and teamwork skills with the energy and commitment to contribute to the wider school community.
- Be driven to make a real difference in students' lives and their future opportunities.
- Hold QTS (with a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics) or have experience as a Maths Specialist without QTS.
- Have experience teaching in KS3-KS5 as a Maths Teacher.
As a Maths Teacher, you will be expected to:
- Inspire and engage students with your passion for the subject.
- Ensure effective teaching and learning, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with fellow Maths Teachers to enhance the curriculum.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Contribute to the wider school community and help students achieve their best outcomes.
