Thrive Group are recruiting for an Administration Assistant on a short term, temporary assignment until March 2025, with a view to start immediately.

This is a full-time position, working 09:30-15:30, Monday-Friday. This position pays 12.00 per hour and is located in Swindon.

You will be responsible for assisting with front of house duties including answering the telephone, daily communication externally and carrying out general school office admin duties as required. You will carry out financial administration tasks, will be required to keep registers, data records and training logs updated, as well as assisting with recruitment paperwork checks and scanning. You will prepare, coordinate and organise events and manage all paperwork distributed to external sources. Although this is not limited to, you will be doing all of this whilst complying with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, welfare, security, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting any concerns to the appropriate person.

The ideal candidate for this role will have good English and Mathematics skills, along with strong ICT skills, being proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and Teams. You will be an effective communicator with the ability to use initiative and work independently and as part of a team. Similar experience required for his role, ideally working within an education setting, with a broad understanding of admin processes. A valid DBS check is desirable to have prior to interview stage, if not this will be completed by the client.
