We're currently partnered with a renowned and reputable chromatography distributor who has seen substantial growth over the last 12 months - they have seen over a 7% increase in service contracts from the 1st of January alone, it's absolutely brilliant. We are looking for an exceptional field service engineer to join their team and take the lead on contracts in Reading, Swindon and Cardiff.
Role Overview
- You will service Liquid and Gas Chromatography equipment for laboratories across Luton and the Surrounding Areas
- As a Service Engineer, the successful candidate will take on a pivotal role, primarily focused on servicing, repairing, and installing cutting-edge Liquid and Gas Chromatography equipment from a range of manufacturers including Agilent, Waters, Shimadzu and Jasco to name a few.
- We are looking specifically for engineers with experience working on both LC and GC (HPLC or MS is an even bigger bonus!)
What will you be doing?
- Service, repair, and install cutting-edge Liquid and Gas Chromatography equipment from a range of manufacturers including Agilent, Waters, Shimadzu and Jasco.
- Provide a high-quality service and support to our customers, keeping up with their expectations.
- Identify issues, diagnose faults, and provide relevant solutions while working independently.
- Undergo comprehensive product training to build your competencies and confidence.
- Be familiar with industry best practice to ensure valid analytical results at all times
What are we looking for?
- Experience working on either LC or GC as an engineer or end user
- Experience troubleshooting chromatography instrumentation within a laboratory environment.
- Degree/HND/HNC level or equivalent is preferred in Analytical Sciences or Electrical/Electronic Engineering is desirable but not essential
- A can-do attitude and wanting to support the team's development.
Package
- Salary dependant on level of experience
- Bonus 10% based on company performance
