This is an exciting opportunity for ex-military personnel who are looking to transition into the medical industry. The role involves traveling across various medical sites within the Reading to Swindon area, ensuring that medical devices and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, ensuring safety and reliability.Key Responsibilities:Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of medical equipment across multiple healthcare facilities. Ensure all equipment is functioning optimally, adhering to safety and operational standards.Equipment Repairs: Diagnose and repair any faults or issues with medical equipment. Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for spare parts and technical support as needed.Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for each service visit.Customer Interaction: Work closely with healthcare professionals to schedule maintenance visits, provide technical support, and offer training on the safe use and operation of medical equipment.Safety and Quality Assurance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe manner.
