We are working with a brilliant education provider in Swindon, Wiltshire that are looking for a passionate individual to enter the school in December 2024 as a Behaviour Support Worker. The position is a full time position beginning in October in the Theale area, supporting students with additional needs or behaviour challenges throughout the school day.

Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Worker:

  • 1-1 support for students with SEMH needs
  • Observing triggers for challenging behaviours
  • Identifying self-regulation tactics when facing challenging behaviour
  • Setting goals for students to work towards
  • Participate in staff meetings to share observations and input on care plans
  • Keep students focused and engaged in lessons

The school's approach to the students' education is a combination of encouraging independence and teaching life skills as well as an educational curriculum. As a Behaviour Support Worker, it is your responsibility to motivate your students to recognise their own potential and do their best to make it come true.
