About the Role: As a Senior Support Worker, you will support the daily operations of the home, ensuring high-quality care, compliance with regulations, and a positive team environment. You will play a key role in shaping the future of the service and supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD).
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
- Support and develop a team of Support Workers.
- Ensure a positive, person-centred, and therapeutic environment.
- Provide ongoing training, mentoring, and performance management.
Care & Safeguarding:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people with EBD.
- Implement and oversee individual care plans and behaviour management strategies.
- Work in partnership with social workers, families, and external agencies.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Maintain high standards of care and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and safeguarding protocols are strictly followed.
- Monitor and review the home’s performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a children's residential setting.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) required.
- Strong understanding of EBD and relevant regulations.

- Ability to lead and inspire a team to deliver the highest standard of care.

Salary: £28k with overtime available.
