Sonic Summary

We are seeking an experienced practitioner to join our ACP team focused on child protection assessments and investigations.
Candidates must have recent experience working within an Assessment and Child Protection Team.
The role involves conducting statutory assessments, home visits, and collaborating with other professionals to analyze risks to children.
The position requires candidates to attend the office for one full week out of four and 1-2 days during other weeks.
Salary details are not provided, but candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner to join an established team to carry out the following duties:

The ACP ( Assessment and Protection Service) team undertake assessments and investigations of any issues relating to child protection. All candidates must have recent/relevant previous experience of working within an Assessment and Child Protection Team. The service is provided by Experienced Social Workers, who carry out statutory assessments involving home visits, consulting with other professionals / practitioners and agencies, gathering information for the assessment and analysing the potential risk to any child or young person. After the completion of the assessment, the case is either closed or held to the point of transfer to the Long Term Locality Teams.

Candidates must be able to attend the office for 1 full week out of 4 for duty week. Then 1-2 days the other weeks.
