Role: DevSecOps Engineer (SC Clearance or SC Eligibility Required) Location: Shrivenham (Hybrid – 3 Days a Week In-Office)Salary: £40,000 - £50,000We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer who has experience design, implement and maintain DevOps workflows to support continuous infrastructure automation deployment. You will intermediate between deployment and operation teams, ensuring constant collaboration to ensure reliability and scalable infrastructure.This role is critical in providing automation processes, performance optimisation and maintaining high availability of software environments.Candidates must either hold SC clearance or be eligible to obtain SC clearance.Role Responsibilities
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate development and testing pipelines using appropriate tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitHub CI)
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using appropriate tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Manage cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Monitor system performance to ensure reliability and scalability of wider environment.
  • Integrate DevOps best practices into software development lifecycle and the appropriate resources.
  • Implement robust monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
  • Automate security workflows (e.g. Vulnerability Detection, Patch Management, Compliance Audits).
Experience
  • A passion for automation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience.
  • Technical experience in:
    • CI/CD Pipelines.
    • Ansible
    • Terraform
    • PowerShell
    • Python
  • Must either be SC or be eligible for SC.
