.Net Software Developer
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced .Net Software Developer to join a fast-growing software consultancy with offices based in Swindon.
You will play an important role in the maintenance, redevelopment and enhancement of a large, complex, multifunctional system built on C#, VB.Net and back-end services.
The company is a fast-growing software consultancy with a high level of technical capability. The talented software team design and build solutions from the ground level up and play a key role in ensuring client satisfaction and ROI. You will work with a software team of 6 people and have the support of a talented leadership team.
About you:
To excel in this position, you will demonstrate the ability to follow application design, write clean well documented code and have a keen eye for identifying and resolving defects. Collaborative and effective communication skills are essential, as you will be working closely with other members of a distributed team.
Requirements and Skills:
- Experience working with .NET (Core / Framework) and relevant technologies including C# and ASP.NET. 3+ years' experience.
- Be happy to be involved in maintaining a system written in VB.Net, just until the system is fully transferred over to the new system.
- Experience with MVC, API, Entity Framework, MS SQL Server
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, LESS and JavaScript.
- A good understanding of modern development practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, etc
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Location & Hybrid Working:
The office is located in Swindon and offers hybrid working. During the first 2 weeks you may be in the office full time to learn the product and get up to speed. After that, 1 day a month will suffice.
