- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade platform components, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Administer and maintain supporting technologies like Active Directory, SCCM, SolarWinds, and VDI solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
- Automate repetitive tasks, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring using tools such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the platform infrastructure to meet business requirements and SLAs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support unified access devices (UADs), endpoint management, and virtualised environments.
- Develop and implement workflows and automation scripts to streamline system updates, patching, and deployments.
- Ensure platform compliance with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve platform efficiency and reliability.
- Act as a subject matter expert for platform-level projects, providing technical leadership and mentorship to other teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents to minimise downtime and disruptions.

- Strong experience in platform engineering, infrastructure management, or a related role.
- Expertise in managing Active Directory, SCCM, SolarWinds, and other enterprise-level technologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash, with experience developing and deploying automation solutions.
- Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware, Citrix, or Hyper-V.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewalls) and compute/storage systems.
- Familiarity with IT monitoring tools and processes for capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Experience with endpoint management and UAD ecosystems in enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Certifications like MCSE, VMware VCP, or ITIL are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and resolution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse technical teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex systems and processes effectively.
